Your role

Are you interested in sanctions risks? Do you enjoy working in an environment driven by regulatory change? Do you know how to maintain independence and objectivity?

Then we are looking for you to tackle the following tasks:

  • Analysis and assessment of regulatory developments and risks in the area of economic sanctions and their implementation in internal policies, processes and controls
  • Creation of metric statistics to support the creation of management information
  • Assisting executives in researching and responding to regulatory and related inquiries and sanction risk assessments, assisting in maintaining issue tracking for audits, regulatory and supervisory reviews, and maintaining departmental procedures.

Your team

The EMEA/Switzerland Sanctions Team is responsible for compliance with internal sanctions policies and assesses sanction risks in relation to customer relationships and transactions. In order to master this challenging task, we analyze customer relationships, implement risk-mitigating measures and carry out control measures. The good cooperation with the responsible customer advisors and other involved positions within the bank is a top priority.

Your expertise

  • University degree or another higher education degree, preferable with legal or banking and finance background
  • Interest in mapping regulatory requirements and innovations in internal guidelines, processes and compliance systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Independent, precise and goal-oriented way of working
  • Ability to offer practical solutions and prioritize a diverse workload with multiple deadlines
  • Good user knowledge of Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in German and English spoken and written, French and Italian are an advantage
