THE COMPANY

MmmGood AG is an interactive, experience online booking platform that brings together hosts and guests around the world. It is our aim to offer authentic homemade cultural, dining experiences to rebuild human bonds. In other words, we re-engage a disconnected global population through the intimate, authentic, cultural experience of sharing meals at a hosted table , with Intention of enriching global tourism and encouraging inclusivity as part of as global social change.

We want to be the global catalyst in building a collective of local social entrepreneurs. Local community people, who bring their culinary skills and cultural wisdom to showcase and to engage with like-minded international travellers who seek personalised cultural immersion and who want to gain an enhanced, transformative experience. This, in turn will help drive a movement for a more inclusive and sustainable world whilst contributing to the evolution of fairer and more eco travel and tourism. We see this as a powerful transformation that can uplift families and communities in economically disadvantaged areas across the continents, with the aim of making rural communities flourish.

MmmGood wants to revolutionise “the cultural discovery” worldwide. This means, - we bring together hosts and guests to taste authentic dining in 3889 selected, local communities across 145 countries by 2027. We cultivate a state of mind for people, - wanting to become social entrepreneurs to alter the future for the better.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Establish a long-term financial vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s business goals.
• Oversee all day-to-day aspects: leading the accounting, tax, and FP&A teams in month-end close process, reconciliations, forecasts, budgets, tax returns, etc.
• Be the company’s strategic financial partner and investment relations advisor.
• Build detailed financial models to support resource allocation and decision-making process to acquire investment.
• Run and improve the standard company cycles, business reviews and financial dashboards
• Continuously map financial opportunities, understanding relevant trends and leveraging competitive/ internal benchmarking
• Collaborate with the business leaders ,understanding business fundamentals and dynamics, which inform the development of accurate, timely forecasts that support a healthy P&L
• Liaise with business leaders to steer operations in alignment with our target goals and support progress tracking
• Create a reliable cash flow analysis and management to meet operational needs and short and long term growth plans
• Coordinate, in conjunction with Legal, the company’s compliance with local and federal government requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You have at least 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a high-growth tech start-up or growth stage tech company, including at least 3 years in senior management
• You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• You are experienced and have knowledge in seed funding and understanding the funding rounds.
• You are knowledgeable about multiple aspects of Finance, including Accounting (e.g. revenue recognition principles), Tax (P&L (budgeting and forecasting, variance reporting, metrics germane to a SaaS business); Compliance (SOX) experience would be an advantage
• You have a proven track record of building Finance teams, including recruiting, managing and developing managers as well as individual contributors
• You’re data-driven, with a deep understanding of business metrics and quantitative goal-setting and its impact on prioritization.
• You are a strong written and verbal communicator, and can explain and synthesize complexity with ease
• You’re a problem-solver who can help address roadblocks and take on complex problems as needed.
• You are authorized to work in Switzerland or the European Union.
• Experience working with multi-national/global organizations with multiple stakeholders is a must.

WHAT INSPIRES US :

• BSc/BA in Finance
• At least 5 years of proven experience in start-ups.
• Speak English and preferably German.
• Track record of seed funding or experience with start-up seed funding.
• A grounded experience in investor relations.
