Job Purpose and Impact

Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC) partnerships with farmers to source, trades, transports, and transforms agricultural products to serve food, feed, and fuel customers. The World Trading Group (WTG) is a critical piece of this system: It is the center of the Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC’s) product lines and proprietary trading, an incubator of talent, and a leading developer of trading and risk management capabilities.
The Financial Planning Analyst will actively work on the development and improvement of WTG’s reporting and analysis capabilities to enable better data-driven business decisions and self-service analytics. At first, you will be instrumental in restructuring the current finance reporting activities, which includes migrating most operational tasks to Cargill’s Shared Services. At the same time, you will be involved on developing analytical tools and partnering with the business in growth initiatives. Key Accountabilities

Handle, coordinate and improve finance reporting activities of the business group including month-end, quarter-end, audit, budget and forecast cycles
Design and deliver effective financial analysis and management reporting tools using CASC data platform data and BI tools as Power Bi
Collaborate with the team to support various business finance initiatives.
Partner with the business in growth initiatives
Independently solve moderate issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Advanced data analytical skills using databases
Experience with design, development and implementation of value added business analytics.
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications
At least four years of related work experience in finance reporting
Experience using databases, excel and Power Bi
Strong analysis and ability to present information in a manner which drive improved business decisions
Strong process, control mindset and courage to continuously looking for opportunity for improvement
