Job Profile Summary

For our Analog team based in Neuchâtel - Switzerland, we are looking for aDirector Analog / RF Design.

The Analog Engineering Director directs and guides the activities of the design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating analogue and mixed-signal electronic parts, components and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.

He/She evaluates results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. He/She prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for necessary actions to achieve desired results.

He/She selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Team Management

  • To lead and manage an Analog and a Back-end team of 15 people active in IoT
  • To ensure the Analog team coordination and growth with resources allocations, goals definition, performance review and new hiring
  • To supervise, in collaboration with the Laboratory & Analog Engineering Manager, the Back-End resources localized in Mexico

Project Management

  • To drive and manage the Analog projects, in collaboration with Projects Managers, to execute on a timely manner
  • In charge of the Analog specifications, TFMEA and laboratory characterizations of Analog blocks
  • To drive the design reviews, the design flow and the processes quality for the Analog team

Roadmap Definition, existing Products and Marketing support

  • In collaboration with the VP of Wireless and System, propose and define the next Analog features for our Product Roadmap
  • Provide guidance to Marketing for new product definition
  • Provide support to APPs/PE/TE for existing products

Qualifications:

  • Analog, RF or Power Management Analog IC design expertise
  • 5 to 10 years of strong expertise as Analog designer
  • Solid experience in team management / team lead
  • Strong sense of organization and structure
  • Proven leader and motivator that can influence our global organization with an exceptional professional presence, good business acumen and knowledge to establish immediate credibility with customers, employees and management
  • Confident decision making and judgment skill in order to drive complex projects to success
  • Demonstrated strong communication and influencing skills
  • ability to work and communicate fluently in English, along with ability to work with diverse communities and geographic locations
  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to win and push the technical boundaries
  • Creative thinker
  • Dynamic and independence spirit
