Collège du Léman is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious international day and boarding schools, located on the edge of Lake Geneva in view of the Swiss Alps.

It is a truly international community with more than 150 different nationalities among the 2000 day and 240 boarding students. They come together on a green, village-like campus covering 8 hectares.

Main Purpose of the Role

As the Camps Coordinator, you assist the Camps team in the planning, organization, subscriptions, implementation and management of all Winter, Spring and Summer activities. You support the department by handling the financial follow up of the expenses. This position leads to work some weekends (ski, summer).

As the Camps Coordinator, you understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stands against discrimination.

Key Responsibilities

Back-office communication:

  • Answering Camps office phone calls and keep track & reply to Summer Camp inbox queries
  • Managing data and leads in the school’s databases
  • Promoting and explaining the Camps activities to visiting families
  • Putting together documentation prior to arrival days (booklets and info sheets)
  • Communicate with parents, agents, and providers ahead of and during the Camps
  • Preparing communication messages to promote the camps (use of Mailchimp, Canva, CDL App)
  • Providing administrative support to the Summer Camp team as required.

Camps’ Administration:

  • Collecting and formalizing the students’ activity choices and rental needs for the Boarding Mountain weekends
  • Managing the registration process for all camps and sending enrolment confirmations
  • Handling the satisfaction surveys
  • Sending payment invoices and ensuring a close follow up of them with the different stakeholders

Camps operation:

  • Being present and support the camps manager during the Boarding Mountain weekends, Winter Camp and Summer Camp
  • Managing the airport Welcome desk on Summer Camp arrival days (Sunday)
  • Potentially accompanying the excursion week

Experience

Customer service job experience required

Managing outdoor activities preferred

Boarding experience preferred

Prior Knowledge

Excel/Word/Outlook, Database advanced level required

Mailchimp, Canva preferred
