  • Senior business analyst with strong ability to challenge business requirements, ask detailed questions
  • The resources will operate in a context where the requirements design needs to:
  • Be comprehensive: our development teams tend not to be proactive in thinking beyond the specs and any gap, even if “common sense” can be missed
  • Have a deployability/configurability approach:
Ideally the consultant has experience in international deployments of of B2C web/eCommerce platforms to understand which share of the requirements need to be configurable/localisation to reduce future needs for codingWe don’t ask for a full understanding of global country specificities, more for a mindset enabling the right balance between authoring/configurability and frozen/hard-coded rules
  • The resources will often work based on oral or very high level brief from business stakeholders, the ability to run interviews, chase for answers and document the outcome in a structured and readable way is key
  • Proactive and solution-finding attitude: if IT comes back with issues or questions for clarification, the consultant should propose answers / alternative designs to be proactively submitted for business approval
  • Re-usability approach:
  • The consultants will be trained to the client design system and component library in order to propose requirements design that will maximize re-usability of existing components and minimize build needs
  • Key inputs:
  • Business brief (oral or very high level document) from the client business team, describing the project’s objectives, expected customer experience, authoring & measurement requirements
  • UX/UI designs from our internal UX/UI team
PMI has a UX/UI design center of expertise, which provides UX flows designs, visual and UI components designs
  • The consultant doesn’t need to have UX/UI design background but needs to understand it in order to integrate these inputs into the requirements specifications and link them with the underlying business logic and data points
