About Our Client

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of processing plants as well as separation and mixing equipment and technology. In order to expand their design team, we’re urgently looking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer.

Tasks
  • Preparation and drawing of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for chemical production plants
  • Specification of valves and pipe material based on project specifications
  • Creation of 3D equipment support
  • Specification and design of steel structure specification drawings
  • Technical support of the procurement department with regards to pipe material and fittings
  • Coordination of and interface to other internal departments such as Project Management, MSR planning and plant assembly
  • Monitoring of cost and schedule within the Plant Design department
  • Project correspondence and verification of plant documentation in both German and English Profile
  • Technical education and/or studies in Engineering
  • At least ten years of experience in the field of plant planning and fabrication
  • Experience in one of the following industries would be highly benefitial: Petrochemical, Chemical, Water Treatment, Pharma or Oil & Gas
  • P&ID experience is a must
  • Solid know-how of a CAD Tool (preferably Autodesk Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Cadwork, MicroStation CAD or similar)
  • You describe yourself as a Team-Player, who is working in an independent and organized way
  • Fluency in English and German is required, other languages are an added value Benefits
