For one of our clients based in Lausanne, we are looking for a

DEVOPS SOFTWARE ENGINEER (ENG / GER) M/F

Missions:

• Build Run - implement and maintain tools to automate software forge and production environments
• Create workflows around critical phases - including build phases, automated and scripted release deployment etc.
• Ensure the availability, performance, evolution and maintenance of the infrastructure, as a reference on the development side
• Act as an expert for the whole group and development teams via troubleshooting and problem solving, by creating specific tools, work-arounds or more permanent solutions
• Participate in development cycles, continuous improvement - CI/CD, implementation of new innovations: Tooling, Robust coding, resource reduction, testing as well as reflections around the software forge
• Define and contribute to workflows and deadlines in accordance with the Agile methodology
• Contribute to the improvement of software performance - robust coding, resource management, cost reduction or development cycle
• Ensure the quality of internal communication and information channels, as well as the quality of documentation
• Collaborate with all stakeholders - Technology Leads, Lead Developers and Functional Leads

Required profile:

• Degree in computer science engineering or European equivalent - Master / Bachelor
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a developer and/or System Engineer dedicated to software production environments - within a major account or a software vendor
• Strong knowledge and/or field experience on Java - J2EE / Oracle DB / Unix / Windows / Linux framework and environments
• Proven proficiency in tools and scripts - including Ant / Kornshell / Maven / Powershell and deployment - MS Azure DevOps / Pipeline or Atlassian Bamboo, environments - lliJ, MAVEN, Git
• Sensitivity or related skills - Agile / ATDD, OWASP best practices
• Problem-solver, you know how to use the command line when there are no alternatives
• Altruistic, team-player, curious, you are known for your proactivity and your listening skills

Languages:

• Technical German to fluent - required
• Fluency in English - B2 minimum
• French - a real asset
