Position Summary

The Nestlé Product Technology Centre (NPTC) in Orbe, is the leading Centre for ideation, creation & renovation of new & existing products & services for coffee consumed in-home and out-of-home. As an “Experienced PM for Portioned Coffee”, you will be responsible to drive projects and initiatives aligned with I&R pipelines to foster business growth for our iconic brands (Nescafé, Starbucks @ Home, Blue Bottle Coffee etc.) and delight consumers all around the world. You will collaborate on a day to day with multidisciplinary teams (Marketing, Operational, Finance, Technical, Consumer & Sensory insight).

A day in the life of an Experienced PM for Portioned Coffee

  • Propose, plan, and deliver projects for NPTC Coffee and/or Markets up to industrializations
  • Drive Scoping, planning, resource management, budget, and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities linked to the project
  • Drive stakeholder alignments and the key-decisions periods
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team responsible for the project
  • Actively prepare for stage gates review & Manage scope changes and escalations
  • Develop further competences in the coffee category and enjoy lots of great coffee tastings
  • Propose innovative ideas to contribute to business growth and propose activities to contribute to large company initiatives
What will make you successful

  • Master’s degree level in Food Science, Technology /engineering
  • Relevant experience in a project management role within an international matrix organization
  • Min 7-10 years relevant experience in innovation and/or project management in R&D or/and operating/factory experience preferably in the FMCG
  • Track records in End to End PM in food & beverages product launches
  • Exposure to coffee technology along value chain - ideally in R&D
  • Very Good level of English (spoken & written)
