Climkit is a major actor in the field of renewable energies in Switzerland.

Our products and solutions allow owners and tenants in communities to locally exchange their clean electricity, to share charging stations for their electric cars and to optimise their energy consumption via our mobile application.

We develop and market all our products in-house and collaborate with local companies throughout Switzerland.

In order to strengthen our team and to continue our expansion, we are looking for a

Full Stack Developper.

Job description

The development team continuously integrates new features to the Climkit software/hardware ecosystem, monitors the data of the various installations and interacts with the other teams to implement user feedbacks.

To collect meters data and control devices such as charging stations on site, our embedded gateways must run an efficient and up-to-date code.

These gateways communicate with our databases and server-side logic through dedicated and secure APIs.

On the user side, a web application allows installers, investors and consumers to access their data, bills and configuration.

As the number of installations and products offered keeps growing, we face increasing challenges in the deployment and maintenance our large ecosystem.

In a daily basis, you will:

  • Code new features at the server-side as a set of micro-services in the development and production environments
  • Support the technical team by identifying bugs in the embedded systems
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to integrate feedbacks coming from our users on our web and mobile front-ends
  • Apply code quality control and tests
  • Document the code and write technical documentation for external/internal use

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • Perfect knowledge of Python and Git for the back-end, good knowledge in HTML/CSS/Javascript for the front-end
  • Good knowledge of asynchronous programming and micro-services architecture
  • Good knowledge of Git for code versioning
  • A strong desire to write clean and maintainable code
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Native/Proficient in French
  • Experience with embedded systems and Linux-based OS is a plus
