As a Group and Statutory Reporting Supervisor, you will be responsible for a given set of entities of the Period End Closing and Statutory Reporting processes in Finance including the remaining Accounting related processes in the market. You will also act as the guardian of the market accounting policies and procedures (Balance Sheet Integrity) and point of contact for Shared Services Centers in Accounting Operations related questions and improvement initiatives.

A day in the life of a Group and Statutory Reporting Supervisor

• Coordinate Period End Closing in area of responsibility and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Act as trusted partner and link with the Finance Community (CFO, Business Controller, Group Consolidation, External Auditors, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé guidelines, instructions and best practices of market related scopes
• Provide active support to Shared Service Center and Function in driving End to End improvement initiatives
• Produce Market Statutory Reporting in compliance with Swiss accounting regulations
• Coordinate the completion of remaining in-market Magnitude Reporting schedules and overall submission
• Act as a subject matter expert on specific IFRS and Swiss GAAP requirements in day-to-day activities
• Participate in Total Service Quality activities to provide the visibility on Total Service Quality for R2R Operational Teams
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Specific accounting certification for Swiss GAAP such as Swiss CPA or similar is required
• Bachelor or Master with major or minor in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties
• Demonstrated technical IFRS proficiency
• Significant and demonstrated experience of in-house statutory accounting
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in English (and preferably French)
