As a Kids & Teens Entertainer you will be responsible for professionally planning, coordinating and implementing our Kids and Teen programmes and family activities. You will take responsibility your own group (Minis, Maxis, Youngsters or Teens) and provide them with age-appropriate entertainment with educational value. In addition to our "young" holidaymakers, you will also care for the needs of the parents, making sure that the whole family feels at home. You will also be responsible for creating a work and duty roster for the Kids & Teens team, proposing procurements for the following season, and coordinating and carrying out season-start and season-end inventories. As an employee at TUI BLUE, every task involves putting into effect the TUI BLUE philosophy and concept.

Departmental duties

• Prepare, organise and implement a varied, high-quality Kids & Teens programme and family events according to the prescribed standards
• Coordinate programme components
• Comply with and implement the work schedule and roster
• Due diligence in complying with safety regulations
• Reporting safety deficiencies and accidents to the superior
• Responsible for the safety of children and teens participating in the actions and programmes
• Responsible for the careful and proper use of the space in the kids club and conscious handling and good maintenance of equipment and installations
• Conducting inventories at the start and end of the season
• Understanding guest and parental needs, maintaining contact with the guests
• Supporting other departments with horizontal actions depending on the work load
• Active participation in regular departmental team meetings
• Conduct in accordance with a quality host function

Qualifications required

• Completed pedagogical training or proven experience in a similar position (hotel, kindergarten, school, educational institution, youth centre etc.)
• Knowledge and skills in the field of children’s entertainment as well as in the design of family actions
• Ability and fun in dealing with children and young people and to dance and movement with children
• Excellent organisational skills
• Independent work ethic and sense of responsibility
• Highly developed communication skills and ability to inspire others
• Spontaneity and creativity
• Resilience and teamwork
• Cost and quality awareness and strong service orientation
• Basic computer skills
• Foreign language skills (good conversational English, other languages an advantage)
• First aid for children (if necessary training by the hotel)

For the foreigner workers and EU Pass holders salary fixed with 700€

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 7-8 months

Salary: From CHF700.00 per month
