Position Summary

As a Laboratory Technician with expertise in Packaging in a R&D environment, you will assist the Project Manager and proposes appropriate testing protocols, methods for capsule elements and system performance evaluation, as well as execute laboratory series of analysis according to previously agreed standards and / or specific criteria defined by Lab Supervisor or Project Manager. You will also identify and shares specific / uncommon observations related to the tests.

A day in the life of a Laboratory Technician for beverage systems in a R&D environment

  • Take a proactive role in innovation to find packaging solutions
  • Propose new ideas/concepts/ways of working
  • Execute laboratory series of analysis according to previously agreed standards and / or specific criteria defined by Lab Manager or Project Manager
  • Identify and shares specific / uncommon observations related to the tests and propose additional tests when needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers through support in analytical tools and knowledge
  • Collect data and reports results in dedicated files or in data acquisition systems by using computers; summarizes results for decision making
  • Proactively communicate & interact with other laboratories and factory members
  • Organization of trials with laboratory manager or project manager

  • Apprenticeship in chemistry / food science, or equivalent education profile
