Position Summary

The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee, in Orbe, develops products and production processes for in-home and out-of-home consumption, for deployment across all Nestlé markets worldwide. There are also departments based in Konolfingen, Marysville, and Singapore.

A Day in the Life of a Nutritionist and Material & Recipe Specialist

  • Provide support to business partners and product developers to ensure continuous nutritional improvement of our portfolio; assess products nutritionally and make recommendation for product renovation
  • Identify nutrition gaps and opportunities for portfolio evolution and growth by staying up to date with nutrition science and consumer trends.
  • Develop nutritional communication for internal staff; organize nutritional training and events.
  • In collaboration with the product developers, manage the new recipes in the Master data Recipe Management tool in Globe.
  • Contribute and actively promote knowledge transfer between Factories and the NPTC community
  • Contribute to compliance by design and "quality by manufacture" by promoting data quality for Ingredients and Recipes
  • Identify areas for improvement and initiate projects to address data quality issues and prevent them in the future
What will make you successful

  • University degree in Nutrition (or food science field with nutrition specialization).
  • 1 to 3 years professional experience,
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Food science knowledge preferably in the beverage category
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Able to work alone & in cross functional team
  • Fluent in English (spoken, written)
