Portfolio Manager - Asset Performance Management

Reporting to the Digital Portfolio Lead and work within Process Automation - Process Industries Division, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the ABB digital Asset Performance Management offering to target market segments.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting digital strategy for Asset Performance Management (APM) on market dynamics, disruption and emerging technologies and the impact on business model, products, and services
• Driving the use of data and analytics, and articulate its impact on industrial process
• Driving digital talent and culture, be an advisor on digital transformation for APM both internally and externally
• Monetizing new business models and support investment requirements in digital business
• Strong financial and business discipline to roadmap prioritization and launch analysis of each product
• Driving portfolio financial accountability for results
• Supporting sales consulting engagements for strategic opportunities in APM
• Delivering product training and sales enablement programs to increase portfolio adoption
• Partnering development for APM ecosystem
• Co-ordinating and collaborating with product groups and other divisions to align digital portfolio requirements

Your background

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the OT / software industry with focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or technical field would be an advantage
• Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, product management driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes
• Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation)
• Understanding and implementation of agile product management and incorporating VOCs into the agile requirements process
• Deep Experience in the industrial software environment; Division-specific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software/…) preferred experience and background in either one or more of the Division industrial domains of Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals, Food & Beverage
• Strong knowledge of asset performance management solutions covering condition monitoring and asset reliability & integrity, predictive & prescriptive analytics, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Hands-on experience with software applications in APM from leading vendors
• Development of APM partners in ecosystem for contributing to IP, developing apps, or implementing on ABB platform. Develop strategic alliances for joint development of digital engineering models to offer new solutions.
• Experience in M&A activities within APM industry to broaden depth in the both the portfolio as well as services
• Background in artificial intelligence & machine learning to predict and optimize asset performance as well simulation packages (digital twins) for APM integration
• Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, “leading by influence”
• Change management experience is a strong plus
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Availability to travel internationally as required
