The Regional Commercial Manager Asia & Pacific reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, and is the single point-of-contact for Asia & Pacific region on commercial topics, and the owner of topline and EBIT targets for his/ her respective markets. The ideal candidate has a distinctive academic background, has worked in marketing, sales or key account management in an international and highly reputable FMCG or luxury goods company.


Being part of the commercial department, you are located in Grenchen, Solothurn, with flexibility to also work from Breitling Zurich offices part of the time.


Main responsibilities:

  • Jointly with the Markets, set and achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Support the country MDs in developing winning commercial strategies to grow revenues, average selling price, improve the quality of the distribution, enhance the profile of the brand and gain market share.
  • Translate these strategies into budgets and detailed action plans
  • Drive successful execution of initiatives
  • Ensure optimal distribution through implementing plans to close underperforming stores and open new higher quality distribution, including external and internal boutiques
  • Ensure countries support the growth of Ecommerce (Breitling.com) and implement training and tools to support a true customer-centric omnichannel approach
  • Proactively monitor progress on commercial objectives and address potential issues
  • Ensure optimal collections in line with HQ guidelines are implemented locally (with required adjustments)
  • Proactively recommend adjustments to product assortment, pricing and distribution to increase impact
  • Prepare and execute commercial aspects relating to high-profile events (product commercial road shows, etc)
  • Finally and most importantly ensure revenue and EBITDA targets are achieved and exceeded.


Your profile:

Breitling is looking for a self-starter with a highly entrepreneurial mindset, who can navigate his or her way in a fast-changing environment with high uncertainty. The position will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing and/or sales, key account management positions in FMCG or luxury goods companies
  • Prior working experience in Management Consulting and/or in a private equity owned environment a plus.
  • Knowledge of Asia region from work and/or education a plus.
  • Graduate degree from a world-class university
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office – data analytics is a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge in risk and operational strategies
  • Strong knowledge in financial analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written English required
    • Sound business judgment and exceptional maturity and communication
