ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER

The Grand Hôtel du Lac, a 5* superior property with 50 rooms entirely designed by famous French interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, is a member of Relais & Châteaux and Swiss Deluxe Hotels.

In terms of gastronomy, the Grand Hôtel du lac offers a Michelin starred restaurant “Les Saisons”, a summer Popup Buddha-Bar Beach and various function rooms for all types of events up to 300 persons.

The Rooms Division Manager is a member of the Executive Committee and reports directly to the General Manager.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

MANAGEMENT OF ALL FRONT OFFICE AND HOUSEKEEPING TEAMS:

  • Recruitment, training, planning, supervision, assistance
  • Ensure the guest’s satisfaction throughout their entire experience
  • Continuously updating the procedures in accordance with the hotel’s standards

SUPERVISION OF THE ROOMS DIVISION TEAM’S ACTIVITIES

  • Reception (reservations, cancellations, check in, check out, luggage, parking)
  • Communication (telephone, emails, messages)
  • Cashiering (invoicing, cashier collection and follow-up of PM)
  • Housekeeping (supervision, rooms maintenance)
  • Administration (analyses, strategy, forecast).

YOUR SKILLS ARE NATURALLY ORIENTED TOWARDS:

  • A perfect information flow with other departments and management to ensure total guest satisfaction and improvement of staff and customer loyalty
  • Facility for problem resolution, management of complaints
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Field and operational oriented
  • Organized, proactive, pedagogue, team player

Only applications that meet the following criteria will be considered;

  • Successful experience of at least 3 years in a management role in a luxury property
  • Fluent in French, German and English
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or UE national)

Permanent contract / 100% activity rate
