Your tasks

Being part of the Product Management team, the Sales Configurator expert creates/updates/modifies the Variant Configurator for the machines of all technologies in SAP.
He/She brings the best support to the Product management team to ensure our Sales colleague could properly deliver offers to our customers.

Main mission :
Maintain the central sales configurator for all GF MS technologies and related master data in SAP (Phase in/out products, options…)
Maintain the data related to the configurator such Mindmap, machine lists on Sharepoint…
Follow up all Change Requests registered by the Product Manager (PM) coordinate timing/priority of the requests
Maintain and update Change Request process on Sharepoint
Keep up-to-date self-help and information platform regarding Variant configurator and change processes, promote, train and educate
Coordinate/support requests from Sales Co’s-in coordination with Product Managers
Provide 2nd level support towards sales channels, product management and TU’s (integration between VC and other SAP modules)

Your profile

  • Education & Training: basic education, with a technical beackground to ease the understanding of the machine business
  • Experience:
  • Proven track records in supporting marketing activities
  • Know-how in machine tool business is prefered
  • International B2B business
  • Language: German and English mandatory, French is a plus
  • IT skills:
  • MS office proficient
  • ERP (SAP), CRM (MS CRM), Digital Publishing (Dot Mailer, others a plus)
  • Curiosity and taste for IT tool
  • Personal skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills, delivering upon expectations and on time
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated and proven team player
  • At ease with numbers with a sense for details
  • At ease negotiating in a matrix organization
