Job Description

  • Propose new concepts to the Brand committee and deliver innovation to the business by turning them into scientific reasons to believe and claims
  • Evaluate and pre-select concepts proposed by the SC
  • Define and supervise the clinical and in vitro/ex vivo plan within budget and timelines, in agreement with processes in place and in accordance with HCPs Marketing recommendations (when applicable)
  • Contribute to the global validation of claims (with Regulatory, HCP marketing, legal & marketing)
  • Support Scientific communication strategy with HCPs Marketing

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for generating and pre-select ideas to the business by turning concepts into scientific reasons to believe and claims
  • Accountable for preparing idea, brief or concept in collaboration with HCPs marketing to be presented to the steering core team
  • Accountable for delivering claims strategy to fulfill claims support in collaboration with Product development, Regulatory, Experts ( medical, toxicologist,...), Head of Franchises, HCPs Marketing, Project management and external network (CROs, Hospitals, Universities, Key Opinion Leaders,…) to the according Roadmaps
  • Responsible to submit the Clinical and in vitro/ex vivo Plan to project team and/or Brand committee
  • Accountable for clinical and in vitro/ex vivo plan set up and management of multifunctional team that will deliver the Clinical and in vitro/ex vivo Plan in collaboration with Clinical Operations, in vitro expert and relevant other experts (HCPs marketing, Medical expert, toxicologist…)
  • Responsible to define & consolidate budget, resources according to launch marketing plans, ensure Management is in line with the recommendations
  • Responsible to supervise the execution of the Clinical and in vitro/ex vivo plan with the Clinical operations and in vitro expert and coordinate actions to adapt or correct when necessary
  • Accountable for providing updates on project progress to the project team and to management through monthly report
  • Accountable for evaluating obtained evidence against Roadmap specifications and suggests appropriate actions in case of deviations (in collaboration with ME and Project Team and/or Brand committee
  • Responsible for obtaining approvals for corrective actions (if needed) and implement actions in collaboration with Project Team and relevant competence pillars
  • Accountable for compiling the obtained evidence in a systematic way that allows for easy consultation and communication and contribute to the preparation of claim submission files as needed
  • Validate claims and support RA, HCP Marketing & Marketing Team to translate them into consumer and HCPs selling stories for toolkits
  • Participate to the evaluation, validation, initiation, follow-up and termination of Investigators Initiated Trials (IIT) inside the IIT committee. May include budget management and/or provision of products
  • Support HCPs marketing department for reviewing internal and external scientific communication (abstract, posters, scientific publications…)

Minimum Requirements

  • PhD in life science, Pharmacist or MS
  • At least 10 years of clinical research experience within a dermal/cosmetic field
  • Strong understanding of cosmetic development process, skin knowledge and stakeholders network influencing Consumer care business
  • Able to manage multiple projects with autonomy
  • Extensive experience in clinical trial planning and oversight, interacting with clinical investigators and Contract Research Organizations
  • Experience working cross-functionally and building collaborative working relationships
  • Experience in reporting, publishing, and presenting results (internal and external) and in supporting scientific marketing and regulatory affairs
  • Experience in working in cross-functional project teams including marketing, formulation, analytics, and regulatory affairs
  • Ability to influence others in order to ensure needs from project teams/ Brand strategies are met
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of personnel, with other divisions and departments, both written and verbal
  • Capable of working in a matrix organization, including strong teamwork skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a "can do" attitude is able to take initiative and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork
