The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee in Orbe is the leading Nestlé Coffee and Beverages Competence Centre that develops products and production processes for in-home and out-of-home consumption. The product category departments consist of units in Konolfingen, Marysville, Orbe and Singapore and provide new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide. They are the owner of the science and technology roadmaps for its category.

As a “Senior Process Engineering Specialist”, you will be responsible for developing competitive, safe, sustainable and reliable product-specific process engineering solutions in accordance to an agreed plan and with focus in Manufacturing Excellence (safety, environment, quality, cost, delivery). This mission will make you accountable for the quality and the effectiveness of the provided solution. You will have the functional leadership to ensure that the appropriate solution is tested, whenever possible and relevant, before initiating the first deployment of a technology.

A day in the life of a Senior Process Engineering Specialist

• Support through Engineering Competence the Innovation & Renovation process for products, processes & technologies
• Deliver in the development of industrially feasible technological solutions
• Develop Engineering Competencies in R&D and develop Engineers (to both support R&D needs and sustainable factory operations)
• Put together or update training modules and assessment tools for the process specific developed solutions
• Support and develop process engineering solutions together with the product project managers
• Investigate, design, implement and test in pilot plant environment new engineering solutions
• Innovate Beyond Expectations in Engineering
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience in food, pharmaceutical. Mechanical or chemical industry
• Previous professional experience in CAPEX project implementations in Operations or R&D
• Participated in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses on projects, processes or products development, implementation or optimization
• Fluent in English
• Good communications skills
• Competence in Project management is required and a certification is a plus (PMP-PMI)
