We are looking for an outstanding Social Media Intern to join our Marketing Communications Team of The North Face in Stabio, Switzerland.

What will you do?

As a Social Media Intern you will help, support and grow The North Face’s EMEA digital marketing programs through social media marketing, content, campaign & projects. Your main tasks will be:

Content & Social Media Management

Be at a central point to manage and coordinate The North Face’s content marketing programs to secure planning, publication, translation and other sub task to successfully publish our content across our own media channels.

Direct management of multiple community managers on a pan-Europe scale, across numerous channels and countries. Part of the job is to justify and strategize the actions made on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.Content production, planning and curation.

Strong communication and copywriting skills are a must as the candidate will be occupy a key role in overseeing written content creation aimed for the public, such as social captions and fan interaction.

Support SM Manager in relevant development of the EMEA Social Media structure, including channel and platform launch.

Supports in day-to-day management of external stakeholders, freelancers & in-market community managers, covering tasks linked to content sourcing, content production, content adaptation & content distribution.

Advocacy Program Support

Day to day management of our advocacy program ensuring agency, consumer and local market activities are aligned and well communicated.

Support the implementation of ongoing Athlete Marketing efforts by providing proven social media insights and expertise.

Strong collaboration with Public Relations Manager in day-to-day execution on Influencer Marketing activities; supports SM Manager with Influencer Campaign tracking & reporting.

Content Calendar

Drive The North Face’s content calendar with our Market Community Managers and agencies. Making sure the plan is always up-to-date and consistent with the global/local marketing programs and initiatives.

Coordinate content creation where needed, along with community managers and different internal stakeholders to secure consistent flow of content to our different own media channels.

Community Management

Lead conversation and management of external community resources, from recruitment to management and upskill.

Analytics & Reporting

Support and lead analytics and reporting dashboard on a weekly/monthly basis.

Support Social Media Manager in internal education & sharing of advanced key social media metrics and the way to leverage them.

Communications

Support broader communications team in day-to-day operations. This includes support with sample orders, product orders aimed at Athletes, Media, Influencers, Ambassadors and TNF Staff.

Global Approach

Establish 2-way relationship with Global Social Media team by supporting SM Manager in providing regional insights, ensuring comprehension of market reality.

What you need to succeed?

You are working towards Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree, or you have recently graduated (not later than in 2021).

Strong understanding of Storytelling through siloed and customized platform strategies, Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking.

Technical skills and knowledge in video/photo production management, from pre-production to post-production.

Great understanding of the broadcasting business model.

Microsoft tools, Social Media services & platforms (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Business Manager, Social Studio, and more), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere), basics in HTML & CSS.

Great understanding of Outdoor business and landscape. Passion for technology and digital.

Fluent English mandatory, German is an asset, any other European language is a plus.
