Publish Date Oct. 15, 2021 Location Zurich | Switzerland, Biel/Bienne | Switzerland Company WorldLineOur agile and multi-functional Mobile Payment team is part of the Frontoffice Department, which is responsible for crafting, developing and running real-time backend payment applications of Worldline SIX Payment Services AG. The team is located in Zurich, Biel and Milan.
As a part of our innovative DevOps team you will be working on groundbreaking mobile payment backend solutions e.g. Crypto Payments, WeChat Pay, TWINT, Alipay, Payconiq, and see them being used worldwide.
You’ll have a huge impact on the quality of our growing suite of products and services.
Our test engineers work closely with developers and business partners to ensure efficient software development, detecting weak spots, spot potential problems and ensure high software quality for frequent production deployments.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Develop test strategies
- Maintain and improve automated test suites
- Automate repeated tasks and build test coverage
- Design, write and implement test-scripts based on received requirements
- Manual testing with physical terminals, POS systems and mobile payment applications
- Handling defect management life cycle
- Support our international clients during acceptance test phases
- Closely collaborate with our agile development (SCRUM) teams
- Highly motivated teams in different European locations.

- Willing to deep dive into our exciting business, helping to acquire new, modern and innovative payment solutions
- Proven educational background (Master Degree or Bachelor) preferably in the fields of economics, computer science or engineering
- Great teammate with agile mentality and willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Experience with one or more of the following: Automation Frameworks/Testing, Integration Testing, Continuous Integration, or Test Design
- Knowledge in API testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL etc.) is a plus
- Basic knowledge in JavaScript, Shell scripting, JAVA, PL/SQL UNIX- and Oracle Database
- Fluency in English and recommended fluent proficiency in German
