The Specialist Supply Chain Management is responsible for the production and capacity planning, from customer demand planning throughout the production support to the prompt deliveries of the goods to the customers. You are also a driver between the market demand on one hand and the planning disposition and the resources on the other hand. The Specialist Supply Chain Management takes charge of the ’six R’s : the Right product in the Right time at the Right place in the Right quality with the Right amount and the Right costs.

You will be joining a new team within our Logistics Department and build up the supply chain for our contract manufacturer in Asia and our distribution channel.

This role reports to Team Leader Supply Chain Management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Customer satisfaction: Delivery reliability and service level
  • Used capacity: Capacity planning, capacity balance, purchase order release
  • Costs: invoice price check, follow up with Factory if invoice is not correct, remind Factory to send credit/debit notes.
  • Informed partners: Delivery management and order confirmation towards sales, production alignment with R&D and quality.
  • Controlling: Stock level, cycle time, lead time.
  • System: Logistics tools, ERP-system (Abacus).
  • Reliable planning: Rolling forecast, dispositive planning.
  • PO tracking: Issues PO’s according to the forecast, follows on the PO’s in terms of delivery date, quantity and quality.
  • Booking: Books all PO’s and PPS orders with respect to material and value flow, in the ERP system
  • Supplier relationship: Forecast details, PO follow-up, data exchange.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Educational background in business administration and/or applied technical management or relevant experience
  • Min.3 years of experience in logistics
  • Experience with ERP Systems and good MS Excel Knowledge
  • Experience in international business enviroment is beneficial
  • Accuracy and efficiency in handling the tasks
  • Teamplayer and good communicator
  • Customer oriented personality and organizational talent
  • Good German and English communication oral and in writing. Other languages are an asset
  • Swiss- or EU-citizen or valid work permit for Switzerland
