kinastic is a Swiss start-up that develops the corporate health management platform of the next generation. We started with a digital fitness coaching and tracking solution for gyms and personal trainers in 2017. Now, we take health promotion in middle to large enterprises to the next level with our virtual fitness and lifestyle coach for employees. A virtual coach which is highly adaptive and provides individual workouts, diet plans and mental health activities based on the user’s needs and inputs.

To grow our team and work on our vision we look for an entrepreneurial and motivated colleague and friend to join our great team. Someone who loves challenges, is bringing in their own ideas and wants to push the product further.

Tasks
  • Developing the frontend applications of our company (primarily our app kinastic Coach and kinastic Club)
  • Ensure good quality of the product (Testing, Performance)
  • Develop user interaction concepts (How to design feature XY in the app)
  • Release the app and maintain the App Store frontpage (from time to time)
  • Minor updates on our main website
  • Bring in your own ideas (any idea is always welcome :)
Requirements
  • Higher education (BSc/MSc) in a relevant subject such as software engineering
  • TypeScript, React Native, react-navigation, Mobx
  • You have a solid understanding of testing, continuous integration and deployment practice
  • You are keen to learn and apply new tools and frameworks
  • Own a self-directed working style and have a high willingness to proactively contribute to the product and the vision as a full member of the team
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • English (minimum C1) and/or German
  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
  • A sense for good UI / UX
  • Good understanding of sports and/or nutrition
