For our client, a multinational biotechnology company we are currently looking for a motivated

Functional Specialist Data Coordination

Your challenges

1. CAPEX Project documentation and Forecast data:
  • Prepare the data collection and consolidation for the monthly up-date of the CAPEX rolling forecast process. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the data.
  • Manage the CAPEX Projects documentation within the Corporate Capex Controlling SharePoint, SAP, the Document Management System (DMS) and/or SGIE SharePoint. This encloses creating new SAP IM numbers for new projects and closing old projects, uploading documents, creating new project folders, maintaining the SharePoint pages and their related access rights.
  • Prepare Capital Authorization Requests (CARs) for the EC Meeting and upload them before and after the meeting within SharePoint. Update SAP as well the SharePoint with the most up to date information after a CAR approval.
  • Support in producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc Excel, PowerPoint status reports for the Capex plan vs actual etc. from SAP for both SGIE and the Corporate Capex Controller.
2. SGIE Reporting System & Process
  • Support the preparation and edition of the SGIE monthly reports. Support to the development of the SGIE Reporting system and process by actively contributing to the improvement tasks and projects, led by the SGIE PMO.
3. SGIE Standard process & tools
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the SGIE standard Process and Tools, by managing its documentation system and actively proposing and implementing optimization solutions.
  • Ad-hoc administrative work to support the SGIE PMO functional Lead as well the Global Engineering Core team. (e.g. travel arrangements and travel expenses booking, obtain signatures from the management for several contracts, etc...)


Your skills

  • Education: Commercial education (KV or similar) or alternatively Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • IT skills: Strong database/system knowledge and experience with global ERP systems (SAP, BW), knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular strong excel and SharePoint skills required, basic knowledge in PowerBI would be helpful.
  • Languages: Business fluency in English and German at least B1/B2 level
  • Experience in administering engineering projects is advantageous
  • General skills:
o Must work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently
o Willingness to learn, open to changes (system)
o Proactive thinking; with discernment; Understands the impact of his/her own actions on his/her business area
o Clear communication; good organization skills with goal-orientation
