GBTS Aerodynamics Engineer

What you do
  • Establishment of requirements for simulation models certification and QTGs in accordance with EASA, FAA and ICAO standards
  • Design, development, integration and testing of simulation models for aerodynamics, propulsion and flight controls systems in Simulink for use in 6DoF flight simulators
  • Integration and support of control loading systems within the training devices at both Pilatus and customer location
  • Coordination of flight data gathering activities with the engineering departments
  • Support of existing fielded simulator software in the field of aerodynamics and propulsion
  • Production of design documentation and test procedures for all designed systems
What you bring
  • Master degree in aerospace engineering. A strong technical background, good knowledge of flight physics, and software programming (C++) and an interest in aircraft systems and flight simulators are required.
  • At least three years of experience with Matlab Simulink, simulation control loading systems (e.g. MOOG) integration and interaction with flight dynamic models in flight simulators
  • Experience on engineering requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Knowledge of configuration management methodologies and Siemens Teamcenter is an advantage
  • Must be willing to travel internationally
