What you do

Define and derive system requirements based on customer contracts, market needs to design Pilatus pilot training products with focus on computer based training (CBT) and learning management systems (LMS)
Conduct the technical activities required to design the system architecture, including the inputs from the hardware and software engineers to ensure correct, testable and verifiable system implementation
Define and perform necessary tests as part of the verification and validation plan
Support system installation and testing at customer site until system enters into service, which may require international travels
Provide the necessary inputs to the configuration management (CM) by creating the engineering bill of material (EBOM) and manufacturing bill of material (MBOM)
Write and review technical documentation part of the project/product lifecycle, such as technical specifications, system requirements and system design specifications applying the ISO 15288 and ISO 12207 approaches

What you bring

Master degree in Software, Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering with focus on complex systems
At least 3 years of experience as System Engineer in complex hardware / software systems with focus on distributed learning
Experience in system engineering methodologies (e.g. 15288/12207/MIL-498) as well as in engineering requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
Excellent social and communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to perform to tight deadlines and under pressure on parallel activities, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working equally well in a team or individually with a proactive attitude
Willingness to travel internationally
