GHS Wellbeing Specialist

Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to guide and support a holistic approach to the management of the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our employees and their families. The lead will be required to raise awareness within the J&J community and support our site GHS staff in developing and advancing a Health Culture.

The GHS Wellbeing Specialist will be required to use our health models to identify health and wellbeing issues within our workforce and provide innovative solutions. A key success factor will be on the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of the health promotion programs on site, as well as enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the local Global Health Services.

The GHS Wellbeing Specialist will be required to work in close collaboration with the onsite GHS teams, our Stakeholders, Facility Management, EHS&S and Human Resources.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Lead and support projects linked with the enterprise Health Promotion & Wellbeing goals.
  • Work with the site local key stakeholders (HR, site lead or any external provider) to ensure smooth program enrollment to meet the goals
  • Ensure leadership engagement and endorsement by monitoring/tracking and reporting the targets
  • Ensure collaboration with the local GHS Team to target programs according to the local needs
  • Ensure good communication within GHS team on projects & initiatives
  • Bring new focus, idea in his/her domain of expertise
  • Promote a healthy culture at work, explaining how lifestyle choices affect health and wellbeing at work.
  • Allow employees to participate in, and consult with, workplace health initiatives.
  • Educate & engage with employees & family members on prevention programs linked to the strategy & develop programs aligned to it taking into consideration other aspects (site risk profile, public health issues, budget constraint, cultural aspect, etc.)
  • Understands local/cantonal regulatory compliance and the global J&J requirements
  • Conducts periodic performance and service satisfaction reviews with site leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Supports the OPS lead with any specific GHS activities in the defined geographical area, this can be, but is not limited to, integration and divestiture activities, implementation of new programs and global or regional health promotion activities.
  • Support driving health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing, and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing.

Accountable for the GHS metrics, goals and outcomes delivered across defined geographic area and works with OPS lead to develop corrective action where necessary.

Qualifications

Education: Background in health, wellbeing, nutrition, or mental health.

Experience: 3+ years of project management experience preferred
