How you will contribute

In this role, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to create, develop and maintain Belimed’s technical Sales Documents from information provided by R&D to feedback from customers and Service. You will support the Project Managers and Sales Support Engineers throughout the world by receiving, executing and delegating Drawing Requests from the field. Your main tasks will include:

• Improve quote/proposal accuracy to ensure project quality, customer satisfaction and reduce cost to install products
• Develop and track key performance metrics for Planning & Design Drawings: equipment trends, drawing accuracy, turn-around time, customer satisfaction
• Provide performance management and on-going training to Designers/Project Managers/Planning and Design Managers
• Participate in the development and implementation of 3D modeling and VR integration
• Ensure latest CAD/BIM standards and procedures are being used by Planning and Design
• Manage departmental specifications and technical data for accuracy and quality - maintain revision log for controlled documents
• Design and develop layouts of sterile processing and surgical support environments to incorporate Belimed equipment
• Create photo-realistic rendered images of virtual 3D spaces
• Develop and maintain an expertise related to the Sterile Processing industry, Project Management, and Belimed products
• Utilize expertise to support Belimed field teams as a technical project implementation reference
• Participate in project reviews including projects analysis, lead and pipeline analysis, presentations and win/loss analysis
• Create new part numbers, extend materials to plant, and create BOMs for P&D department use
• Model new products in Revit from STP files
• Compile technical data from R&D to redistribute in customer-facing technical documents

What you will need

• Engineering or Architectural Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of work experience using CAD/BIM software, as well as excellent ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings
• Advanced Revit skills, as well as familiarity with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Solidworks and familiarity with SAP are an advantage
• Experience engineering simple sheet metal components as well as experience working in the commercial construction field or on major healthcare projects are a distinct advantage
• Fluency in both English and German, additional languages are a plus (especially Spanish)
• A highly motivated self-starter that thrives in a changing, dynamic environment
• Ability to identify gaps and constantly improve our services
