  • Management and further development of category strategies for the entire Group as part of the global procurement strategy.
  • Define category supplier portfolio for the regions and local markets together with Regional Category Manager as well as SAS (Sales & Service Organization)
  • Negotiate global framework agreements taking TCO and landed costs into account
  • Leading global/regional RFQ’s and cost reduction projects
  • Supplier Relationship - manage suppliers within the assigned categories
Required Qualifications
  • Completed studies (engineering science, business administration, process management) FH/University
  • Experience in category management processes in a matrix organization
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as negotiation skills
  • Technical affinity for IT systems (including ERP SAP, SAP BW, SRM systems, MS Office, etc.)
  • English language (business fluent)
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in an operational and strategic, multi-functional procurement department
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Industrial Manufacturing / Machinery & Plant industry
  • Experience in the supply market of castings, forgings, and machining
  • German language (business fluent)
