Global Digital & Marketing Manager System Professional & weDo/ Professional

THE ROLE

As a Digital & Marketing Manager for System Professional and weDo/, you will be responsible to help deliver penetration and market share brand growth. You will be responsible for assisting with the development, execution and measurement of all key global marketing activation strategies and tactics across earned-owned and paid. You have a passion for building brands, digital expertise, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a digital centric mindset. The role requires agility, strong collaboration skills to build effective partnerships with internal and external local and global stakeholders.

You will be developing and executing global marketing plans to drive sustainable growth across multiple category segments

System Professional

  • Lead System Professional global digital marketing strategy (Owned, Earned & Paid).
  • Coordinate the brand teams in developing, implementing, analyzing and optimizing all digital marketing activities and content strategy across the global/local digital ecosystem.
  • Build System Professional base business activation masterplan and activities designed to win in the different markets & sales channels.
  • Deliver in line with global brand budget on time/on budget .

weDo/

  • Lead weDo/ brand marketing strategy & activation masterplan (base business, activities and partnerships).
  • Maximize synergies across functions and across 2 lead pilot markets (France & Brazil).
  • Own brands’ fundamentals and visual identities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Professional

Define the FY digital strategy and the mid to long term vision for System Professional across Owned/Earned/Paid channels.

Owned

Social Media, CRM and Content coordination

  • Create the Global Social Media strategy to support local teams and ensure the global strategy is executed with excellence across markets.
  • Lead the global social media content, planning and deployment across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Newsletters.
  • Optimize UGC moderation and collection.
  • Lead social listening to fuel brand future innovation.
  • Own monthly scorecard and reporting, track social media and campaign performance.

Website owner

  • Drive ongoing web-mastering of our System Professional brand website and constantly optimize content and website structure.
  • Create engaging and SEO optimized blog content in line with Brand values and tone of voice.
  • Manage localizations across all markets.
  • Lead agency through the whole process.

Ecommerce excellence

  • Ensure excellence in brand look on our most strategic channel
  • Collect inputs from Wella ecommerce team and competition to create and optimize brand ecommerce content
  • Support tracking and optimization of brand CARS and support markets in improvement

Earned

  • Lead global influencer strategy and ensure implementation through the different markets.
  • Lead consumer & stylist communities’ ecosystem, from strategy to engagement plans.

Paid

  • Guide local marketing on paid media investments, leading the way to refocus budget on working media.
  • Led pilot paid media test across critical regions/markets.

Marketing:Build System Professional base business activation masterplan & activities designed to win through the different markets & sales channels.

  • Develop FY communication strategy and holistic toolboxes for salon, stores and e-com as part of the channel eco-system.
  • Owner of global marketing assets ensuring right deployment to markets and tracking brand visual rights
  • Manage all brand partnerships and ensure excellent relationships with them, collaborating with external agencies to coordinate and synchronize the plan on future commercial activations.

weDo/

Define the brand strategy and positioning partnering with the key markets to enable growth:

  • Develop base business strategy and holistic toolboxes for salon, stores and e-com as part of the omnichannel eco-system.
  • Manage all brand partnerships and ensure excellent relationships with them.
  • Be the owner and guardian of the brand equity, visual identity, tone of voice, ensuring holistic design across all touch points and communication campaigns, ensure fit of individual brand positioning into overall brand architecture.
  • Be the owner of global marketing assets ensuring right deployment to markets and tracking brand visual rights.
  • SKU assortment management and optimization.
  • Budget ownership managing brands yearly costs, tracking every brand spend and ensuring suppliers are paid in time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business management or Economics
  • 3-5 years including global / regional marketing experience in both brand design marketing and digital marketing
  • Strong track record of strategic view, ability to energize team and execute strategy
  • Strong track record of autonomous problem-solving with minimal guidance/ lead team involvement
  • Passionate about digital, corporate, brand values and beauty trends
  • Creative mindset, and always up to date on the latest trends in sustainable marketing
  • Ownership, accountability, autonomy and evidence of agility (Mental, People, Change, Results, Self-Awareness)
  • Very organized and able to lead multifunctional team, manage all stakeholders and timings in parallel
  • Data driven and focus on excellent execution, innovative and creative thinker
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines in a complex organization, with various internal partners & external agency partners
    Experience in the salon industry is a plus
  • Experience in local marketing is a plus
  • English mandatory any other language is a plus
