In this role, you are part of our strong and fast-growing international innovation Global Reporting Solutions Team (GRS) which is fully embedded in our Global Finance organization. Our mission is providing digital capabilities to our business management globally through data as a service and data management capabilities.

As Global Digital Specialist BI Data Management you will be a key contributor in enabling the access to our data lake to our business community through a newly implemented data as a service solution. To make your core mission successful, you collaborate closely with our community of Business Intelligence (BI) teams to understand their data challenges and needs, translate them into product requirements which streamline the data insights generation.

Our team has hubs in Ebikon (Switzerland) and Madrid (Spain).

Other challenges include:

• Implementation of Data and BI service capabilities, including data catalogue, harmonized reporting and KPIs standards
• Supporting the product design and building of the new features, from their concept to their adoption
• Involvement in functional design specs, master data management and data quality requirements for our Data Catalogue and Data Management tool and application
• Develop training content for our BI user community and educate on the use of the data as a service solutions via coordinated user testing.
• Collect enhancement requests from stakeholders and ensure alignment to harmonized steering concept for data and KPIs.
• Collaborate with your international team to master agile collaboration and delivery to continuously ship excellent products and services.

You are people-minded person and passionate about data, analytics and reporting. You have excellent analytical and technical skills as well as a strong attention to details. As an experienced designer and a solid problem-solver, you have the proven ability to plan, operate and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while meeting our high-quality standards.

Further requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in various data and analytics projects with solid knowledge in Power BI (PL-300 certification is a plus)
• Knowledge on tools for data catalogues, lineage, metadata management (e.g. MS Purview, Collibra, Informatica). Certification in DAMA is a plus.
• You have a strong understanding and agility with data management and quality methodology and principles
• Preferred experience with tools such as Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure solutions, Confluence and Jira Software
• Fluency in English and proactive and effective communication with all stakeholders
