The Role

The Global Retail Team is looking for an experienced and customer-centric Go-To-Market (GTM) Retail Manager. In this role, you will develop commercialization strategies, omni-retail programs and define sales revenue opportunities in the retail channel with the objective to bring new Logitech products and solutions to market and grow the value of every Logitech product category.

As Global GTM Retail Manager you will be responsible for the development of strategic programs that help Logitech elevate the collaboration and partnership with its top customers to jointly grow value for the different product categories.

You will work in close collaboration with the product category teams, the marketing teams, and the E-tail Team as well as other cross-functional teams to drive the development of the categories in the retail channel and enable profitable sales revenue growth, while improving the Logitech in-store and online presence (retail.com), brand experience and reputation.

As part of the global commercial organization, you will enable and support the regional teams in further expanding our advantages in the market, into new retail channels and commercial partnerships. You will also have the responsibility of building and deploying omnichannel capabilities in collaboration with the E-tail team and of continuously improving the channel management process, including the profitability of the Retail channel.

Reporting to the Global Head of Retail, and based in Lausanne, you will be responsible for building retail activation programs and driving improved practices from category development through lower funnel communications in-store and online on our customers websites in order to ensure a seamless shopper and brand experience. You will participate in the definition of the Retail Media strategy, in close coordination with the E-tail channel and marketing teams to execute campaigns across touchpoints through a full funnel approach to further engage with retail partners, shoppers and gain customer insights.

  • Lead the thinking on strategic programs how Logitech will engage with top customers worldwide to jointly create value in our categories and deliver business growth ambition.
  • Drive the evolution of the customer and channel experience of the Retail Channel.
  • Plan and execute category-growing initiatives to win in the customer via cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Be the key contact (center of excellence) for Regions, geographical clusters & countries (latest retail trends & developments, industry benchmarking, shopper insights etc.).
  • Support Regions globally in their interaction with top Retailers (pitch meetings, assortment analysis etc.) and in delivering superior Sales Fundamentals.
  • Find new innovative ways to keep growing the retail channel for Logitech.
  • Work closely with product categories to define and drive best practice across our different businesses.
  • Develop customer data analytics and performance management dashboards to measure the effectiveness of the global retail programs and Top Retail account. Generate reports and make optimisation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the E-tail capability team to drive synergies and omnichannel solutions.
  • Integrate new ways of leveraging innovative business levers and technology at POS.
  • Design and deploy blueprints to Regions to improve the channel and accounts profitability.
The responsibility also includes bringing new innovative ways of thinking how Logitech can leverage the retail environment as a true Marketing asset for driving incremental sales, and turn Customers and Shoppers into brand advocates

Your Skills

We are looking for a special individual with a broad cross section of skills. For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
  • Proven experience in Marketing / Sales roles with at least regional, ideally international scope, gained from working at leading international FMCG, Consumer Electronics and/or Retailers.
  • In-depth understanding of the Retail and Omnichannel landscape.
  • High ability for strategic thinking. In this role your focus will not be on execution but on developing strategic programs that will be executed in clusters & countries.
  • High level of Creativity. Successful retailing today means delivering new innovative ways of delivering superior consumer/shopper experience in stores.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across regions, functions and levels.
  • At ease in multicultural, multifunctional and matrix environments.
  • Good communication skills, capable to adapt style to the audience.
  • Good leadership and influencing skills.
  • Experienced in Retail Media is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written, any other language is a plus.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or related fields.
