Position

The Global Inventory & Demand Analyst Manager is responsible for the planning, assimilation and management of processes related to the Maison’s global inventory & demand, to ensure the proper handling and distribution of goods.

This position will utilize data mining, statistical analysis, and identification of trends to create and maintain inventory KPI’s and ongoing management of the different markets, channels & stock hubs.

Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to explain and present complex problems in an understandable way and an ability to define root causes to structure a plan into manageable action items.

Missions

Inventories Management & Optimization :
  • Develop global inventory management definitions, templates, tools, processes, and best practices to ensure proper handling of inventory both worldwide and through various distribution channels, including HQ.
  • Participate to the definition of model stock per channels and region and all the way to boutique/POS level.
  • Ensure a proper tracking of stock management at global/market and boutique level.
  • Participate to the monthly allocation of goods.
  • Conduct individual and team training sessions related to global inventory management processes and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and provide inventory management support to operation teams globally.
  • Drive company-wide inventory performance tracking using KPI dashboards and reporting to monitor performance and to continually analyze inventory levels.
  • Create and develop insightful reports and presentations to provide clarity and understanding of inventory levels and trends.
  • Participate to the product life cycle committee.
  • Provide recommendation to optimize inventories (across region & channels).
Forecast & Demand Planning
  • Maintain a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
  • Challenge the forecasts from the markets and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets…) with relevant data analysis.
  • Challenge & optimize the market monthly demand with accurate data & analysis.
  • Drive & improve the forecasts process and accuracy with transversal coordination actions and proximity to markets.
  • Communicate the product inventory strategies (best sellers, new products, phased out, end life…) to the manufacturing team.
  • Tune the forecasts and inventory rules according to the demand and market trends.
Profile

You have a university degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or technology related field.

You have minimum 5 years’ experience, with preferably experience at HQ level.

You possess must demonstrate strong creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

You have knowledge of inventory management and inventory control.

You possess must Demonstrated ability in utilizing a variety of project management skills to achieve project milestones and on-time completion.

You have an experience with utilizing data analytics to drive strategic planning initiatives with hands on capabilities to effectively manage cross functional cooperation.

You must possess analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to dive deep and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.

You have expert level knowledge of excel and other Microsoft platforms and an experience with ERP software in managing day-to-day business activities.

You speak Fluent in English and French.
