Job description

As the Ax Global Launch Excellence Lead you will report to the Head of Global Ax Marketing Support and you will be part of Galderma’s Medical Aesthetics Business Unit. In this role, you will play a key role in leading launch initiatives to bring innovation to the markets, in leading and shaping Global Launch Excellence process starting from global launch readiness , regional/ local Launch preparation process activities and launch optimization post launch ensuring timely and optimal global (and local) launch success across all Ax markets.



Responsibilities

  • Leads all launch activities and drives launch excellence within the Ax GBU and in markets
  • Leads launch project planning, reports on progress and ensures key steps are taken to ensure Galderma Ax develops excellence in launch capability
  • Leads multi-functional partners, markets and Brand team leaders in developing product specific cross functional excellence platform and best practice tracking tools
  • Defines KPIs for launch success from launch Preparation, through to launch Readiness and Launch optimization
  • Acts a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on the status of global launch preparation
  • Project manages Launch Preparation to ensure key activities across key launch pillars are delivered across key stage gates
  • Provides progress reports on progress to launch at GBU and regional levels
  • Leads cross-functional activities necessary to deliver successful NPI launches in all Markets:
    • Acts as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on the status of the launch for all Markets
    • Ensures flawless execution from Market launch request all the way to product delivery
    • Proactively manages risks related to the rollouts and manages communication and alignment among stakeholders
    • Partners with key functions (Markets, Regulatory, Artwork, Regional & Global Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure on-time Demand Visibility & Supply Planning
    • Acts as the first point of contact for escalation and drive timely issue resolution and decision making
  • Drives continuous improvement by collaborating with the key functions and markets to continually review launch readiness, preparation and execution processes to drive launch excellence end-to-end
  • Listens to market needs, brings forward ideas and initiatives that will significantly contribute to the team’s objective to deliver a premium customer experience and ultimately accelerate Galderma’s growth
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, cultivates a result oriented, entrepreneurial and a customer-focused culture across teams



Requirements

  • University degree in technical, scientific, marketing or business field
  • 10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Medical devices of which at least 3 years of experience in leading complex projects and working directly with markets, operations and supply chain functions
  • Successful experience in leading multiple launches of Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Devices at Regional level
  • Global Launch experience a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel, PPT, Project Management tools, Microsoft Project an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization
  • Business acumen and customer orientation
  • Experience in international and matrix organizations
  • Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong influencing, negotiating and decision-making skills
  • Ability to challenge stakeholders (internal/external) to drive of a culture of high performance
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
