The CPQ Domain Lead, is the key strategic interface to business customers in identifying, consolidating and managing the overall demand of Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) for the Domain. In this role you will be accountable for the delivery of the whole life cycle of a portfolio of initiatives, this role ensures the successful execution of projects from initiation through to release and ultimately value realization. You will be reporting to the Head of IS – Global Markets Electrification.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborates on Strategy to ensure the demand on the CPQ Domain is appropriate and that resources required are identified and agreed.
• Accountable for generating the vision, from the Architecture point of view, of how to deliver the demand requirements without undermining platform stability, end user experience, etc.
• Collaborates with the business in sharing the vision to enable connection of processes across the organization, manages assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules, quality and costs.
• Is accountable for End-to-End effective and efficient execution of projects within the CPQ Domain, ensuring escalations related to delivery in the domain are solved and that corrective actions are taken.
• Collaborates with the business to ensure full understanding of the consequences of the configuration process end-to-end
• Identifies, manages and addresses with service owner the operational domain risks and service-level related risks, collaborates with all relevant IS departments and other key stakeholders to create integrated, business process-oriented SLAs
• Is accountable to the IS internal and cross-functional processes are correctly applied at domain level, accountable for domain service portfolio
• Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed IS Governance. Critical focus on IS Controls.
• Builds comprehensive stakeholder / relationship management strategies and plans, and builds long-term strategic relationships with senior
• Ensures work in the delivery domain department is compliant with all applicable ABB Regulations and ABB Group Guidelines, ensures all internal controls are diligently followed and supervised in all departments.

Your background

• Master’s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant business-related experience close to the business, ideally having experience of working in Quotation and/or configuration, IS Architecture and of working at both local and Global level with understanding of local challenges experienced within Operations.
• Previous IS Architecture experience.
• Experienced in translating business needs into IS Domain strategic direction.
• Experience of IS Architecture
• Strong people and strategic leadership skills.
• Excellent relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Global mindset, ideally derived from experience of a multi-country, cross-culture environment.
• Excellent experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.
• Fluent spoken and written English
