As the Global Master Data Lead Analyst, you will have responsibility for data standards, data governance and management processes related Material Master, Customers, Planning, Suppliers, and Quality. Support and enable the Data Stewards in standardizing the Master data design within MD SC based on input from the EMDM, and Process Team (Business Process Owners and Global Template Owners). Document the data standards and facilitate the process of defining and/or approving functional specifications to support to the implementation of any Master Data maintenance and governance applications (i.e. SAP ECC, SAP MDM, SAP MDG).

Responsibilities Include
  • SAP S/4 Master Data Design, Configuration and Management: Work in the collaboration with the MD SC Data Stewards to ensure data standards, business rules, work flows and supporting transactions are aligned with the MD SC Standard Template. Provide/validate functional specifications to ensure documentation and configuration of SAP S/4 aligns business requirements for data with MD SC Standard Template.
  • Holistic focus on Master Data, including master data management (processes, reports, quality metrics and workflows), and interfaces. Work in collaboration with the Data Stewards to ensure documentation, development, testing and delivery follow MD SC ERP program delivery methodology
  • Ongoing Governance and Deployment: Document and contribute/lead the implementation of required change through the process (interface to IT support, impact analysis, release mgt, data changes, testing etc.). Ensure changes to business processes are coordinated with the Data Stewards, other process owners and backward integrated to legacy systems.
  • Collaborate and support the Data Stewards on the MD SC ERP deployment teams on Testing and Training: Ensure functional area testing preparedness and execution. Ensure string, unit and validation test scripts for all business process areas in scope, and oversee unit, string and validation testing. Ensure support to Data SME network and training materials development (localization). Ensure delivery of "Train the Trainer" to designated franchise leads. Ensure required work instructions are developed and maintained by both master data and each process area. Assists teams with problem resolution, issue management, etc.
  • Project Mgt & Implementation Readiness: Own the tactical planning for the design team’s master data deliverables. Drive the timely deliverables of master data team design deliverables. Ensure knowledge transfer between team resources, site resources (SME’s and Power Users), consultants are identified and completed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of working experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Master Data within Operations/Supply Chain or equivalent project experience is required.
  • Experience working within a complex organizational environment is required.
  • Master Data Management experience in the context of SAP programs implementation is preferred.
  • Expertise in business processes within Supply Chain preferred.
  • Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery is preferred.
  • Health Sciences experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of most of the key concepts around master data management, data standards and organizations is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Master data elements, processes, and organizational support models is preferred.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies with other functions, preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP system (e.g. JDE, SAP) is required.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills required.
  • Experience working with multiple functions, regions and Enterprise functions preferred.
  • Domestic/International travel is required up to 20% of the time.
