We are seeking a Global Packaging Manager (m/f /d) to join our team

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two teams of packaging and labeling expert
• Bring and develop packaging expertise into the organization and function as a key communication interface between internal and external stakeholders
• Drive our Medela cares planet sustainability vision to execution on packaging
• Develop and lead the end to end packaging development process for all consumer primary and secondary packaging
• Develop a pool of contract packagers and third party vendors to design and develop primary and secondary packaging and labeling in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Support successful commercial launch of Medela’s products by providing packaging vendor selection, oversight, artwork development, validation strategy and product track and trace solutions
• Prepare and deliver development reports, protocols, batch records, and SOPs supporting packaging development and regulatory submissions
  

Your Qualifications

• Experience with people management 3+ years
• 12+ years of biopharmaceutical experience or consumer goods in a packaging, engineering, and validations environment
• In-depth experience in a packaging and artwork development /labelling in an FMCG or healthcare environment
• Comprehensive working knowledge of FDA, USP and ICH guidelines (MDR knowledge is a plus)
• Familiarity with and experience in applying global regulatory requirements for packaging and labeling of commercial and medical products
• Outstanding problem solving skills including the ability to devise and implement practical solutions to resolve complex issues in a virtual environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency level in English, German is a plus
• BS or MS in (packaging) engineering or life sciences
