Together, we’re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for the growth and development of a portfolio of liquid and air/gas membrane filters for use in food and beverage applications, working with business unit colleagues, develops and implements a plan to meet global revenue, pricing and volume objectives for the defined portfolio, developing a product roadmap with clearly defined product introductions and rationalizations to assure that our products and services meet customer and regulatory requirements.Works closely with Market and Regional Marketing to define the recommended Pall products, marketing plan, positioning, training and sales tools, possess, and continually develop, an understanding of customer needs and requirements, and the dynamics of the defined market space.
  • Uses understanding of trends and competitive situation to identify new business opportunities for profitable portfolio growth. Develops product marketing plans and gives clear input to strategic and commercial plans for assigned product(s).
  • Leads product life cycle management, including managing product pricing and quality, continuously improving position & profitability of current products, and rationalization of product line/pricing to drive portfolio profitability.
  • Works cross-functionally to assure sufficient product supply for the defined business segment. Defines products within the portfolio that are AOS/MTO to streamline production. For products where we are constrained, leads process for filter prioritization with regional sales teams and works with operations/com ops to execute.
  • Works closely with R&D colleagues on new product development to define product specifications, coordinate voice of customer and identify beta test sites to ensure development of the right products. Works with regional marketing and sales to develop positioning, promotion, sales tools and training to ensure successful product launches and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Coordinates material changes and line transfers with Quality/Regulatory and PE team to ensure portfolio meets food contact and other regulatory requirements. Communicates product notifications with sales team as appropriate.
  • Serves as key liaison with operations, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, Sales, and Regional Marketing for assigned product(s) .
  • Work with global training manager to develop programs to design, deliver, and guide the requirements for training programs for customers, sales staff, and distributors on our positions and products.
  • Actively tracks and analyzes global sales growth, margin and issues for product portfolio. Provides regular reports on performance.
  • Proactively develops goals and objectives to support the organization’s strategic vision. Identifies specific action steps, accountabilities and timelines for completion. Displays the ability to translate objectives into action plans that result in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

We keen to bring great talents and we looking in this talent to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Marketing. Food Science or Microbiology degree preferred.
  • Able to develop and implement a product strategy as typically acquired through 3 to 5 years or more in a product management position. Experience with food and beverage processing equipment and filtration preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to advocate for Pall’s portfolio within the market with customers, sales and marketing peers, distributors and management. Ability to lead presentations and/or trainings.
  • Possesses knowledge to understand general business and Pall’s products and services in food and beverage, in particular.
  • Freedom to travel with minimal advance notice and be available for travel of reasonable duration (1-2 weeks), in conjunction with the travel requirements (estimated at up to 30%).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, powerpoint and spreadsheets.
