The MedTech organization encompasses three Franchises (Ethicon, CSS, DPS), spanning four geographic regions (EMEA, LATAM, ASPAC and North America).

As key member of the MedTech Plan Strategy & Capabilities team, you will partner closely with the Global and Regional planning organizations to bring our planning processes and systems to the next level of maturity, optimizing inventory and delighting our customers !

Using Core Planning Principles, Advanced Methodologies Such As Process Mining, Control Tower And Yet-to-be-created Digital Products, You Will Deliver Value By
  • Driving measurable improvements in process adherence, focussed on Supply planning.
  • Delivering continuous, incremental process and system improvements
  • Using digital and APS technology to advance and simplify our system solutions
  • Creating capabilities to diagnose data gaps and remediate them

Enabling a streamlined supply chain flow to ensure products reach customers efficiently and timely, requires outstanding planning process and system performance. From ordering raw materials to delivering products to the affiliate DC’s the E2E planning organization plays a critical role in fulfilling our customers’ expectations.

This position will report to the MedTech System Owner for Supply Planning and will be located in one of the major MT Planning Hubs in NA or EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving process improvements both in large scale global initiatives as well as day-to-day business opportunities.
  • Ensuring all system solutions consistently meet business expectations, balancing efforts to improve business capabilities via system enhancements where applicable, supporting action to address break-fix issues -- in partnership with our Franchises, Regions and with IT.
  • Participates as a key member in a “Super User Network” community across relevant System Platforms to prioritize opportunities for improvement while creating an environment of innovation where others feel comfortable in shaping new ways of working
  • Designing business solutions and processes that can be converted in system solutions.
  • Facilitating process management training and knowledge & experience sharing -- driving awareness on business process management.
  • Driving process standardization and ensuring best practices are established throughout the business communities by participating in the Capability Execution Team (CET).

Education

Qualifications
  • University Bachelor`s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations or equivalent based on experience.
  • MBA preferred

Required

Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required
  • Strong background in Supply Planning, including end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies with other functions / initiatives, including end Customer touchpoints
  • Digital and Supply planning systems savvy
  • Outstanding transformation and influencing skills, strategic and hands-on.
  • Work experience in a global organization, supporting regional and local teams.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills, strong in interdependent partnering and team management
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives, work in a matrix organization with fast paced business changes and priorities.

Preferred
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry
  • Clear understanding of external Supply Chain and Digital trends and emerging best practices
  • Understanding of Digital transformation and supporting technologies in other industries
  • Ability for strong partnering and understanding of Planning support needs of the Enterprise and business segments
  • Ability to embed a culture of digital transformation and value creation across the MD franchises

Other
  • Travel Requirements: 10% international travel
  • FPX PL, PMP Certification, or FPX SME preferred
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Other certifications in areas of expertise desirable
