Global Talent Scout Digital and IT (m/f/d)

Role Purpose

Lead the strategic scouting and acquisition of tech talent for IT & Digital across the globe, use network, market knowledge and expertise to build a strong Syngenta IT & Digital brand and source the best talent available in the market. Partner with the TA community and lead the IT & Digital functional recruitment world-wide, by serving and influencing the TA network in the countries/regions. Map the external market of the critical skills in demand for today and in the future. Together with the IT leadership team, create and execute an external tech talent engagement strategy, driving the advancement of Tech D&I agenda from recruitment perspective.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with leaders across IT & Digital to understand their immediate and longer-term talent and capabilities requirements
  • Provide guidance on the best sourcing and location strategies, based on your expertise and data on talent availability
  • Drive the advancement of the IT/Digital D&I agenda by providing targeted scouting and engagement of external female tech talent, and other D&I gaps that the ITLT identifies
  • Partner with IT & Digital recruiters globally to ensure consistent implementation of the talent scouting and acquisition strategy and building a global external talent pipeline for the function
  • Identify and engage Digital / IT experts and leaders in the market. Proactively create pools of promising talent to tap into when specific role opportunities emerge
  • Together with the ITLT, build and sell a compelling brand of IT & Digital, promote it through job postings, campaigns, participation in careers fairs, industry events etc. Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments
  • Keep at the front line of the tech industry development to ensure that we are ahead of the game when it comes to acquisition of the critical skills needed for the digital transformation
  • If there is capacity and interest, partner with the Global HRBP for IT/Digital to understand and build tech talent career paths and how to facilitate the growth of tech talent
  • Support the aspiration of building a diverse team by ensuring a diverse slate of candidates at all stages in recruitments, leverage multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find diverse and quality candidates
Requirements

Qualifications
  • International experience as a Technical or IT Recruiter or recruitment / talent acquisition partner, ideally gained within a global, highly matrixed organization
  • Proven experience in active talent sourcing, head-hunting, using innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive talent in challenging talent markets
  • Experienced in interviewing and assessment methods or tools
  • Well versed in managing senior and/or remote stakeholders, with a strong ability to build a solid network
  • Experience in leading indirect or direct, and geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent influencing skills with proven ability to formulate and implement recruitment strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of the market intelligence of the fast-moving digital/IT skills and talent
  • Medium-level technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT & Digital roles
  • Familiar with working across multiple platforms (e.g. ATS, CRM), and able to quickly adapt and optimize available technology
  • Data fluency – ability to make sense of complex data sets, and identify trends, opportunities and hotspots
  • Confident communicator both verbally and in writing with a strong command of English
