The GMP Training Manager should provide and develop training material and deliver trainings to employees at Lonza. This position is a vital business partner who is passionate about training & committed to excellence while ensuring Lonza employees are properly trained prior to performance. The GMP Training Manager is a role model in the organization, understanding and promoting GMP mindset and behaviors that drive a Quality Culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing the site GxP Training Plan to define program deliverables, including an annual summary report
  • Collaboration with supported functional group to ensure business objectives are met through effective learning and training solutions
  • Conducting dynamic and interactive GxP training sessions on a variety of topics
  • Developing GxP training materials for use in training courses, with high attention to quality, role-specificity and engaging learning experience
  • Supporting internal audits, client audits and regulatory inspections as QA subject matter expert for GxP training related topics
  • Supporting and overseeing change control management and ensuring change controls are managed according to the agreed strategy and timelines
Key Requirements
  • Ph.D., Master or Bachelor or equivalent in a scientific field (pharmaceutics, chemistry, biologics)
  • Solid experience in training / education, preferably in pharmaceutical industry in GMP environment
  • Ability to lead cross-functional consultation on training strategy, strong facilitation and delivery skills as ability to coordinate complex training initiatives
  • Skilled in coaching, training and facilitation practices with the goal of improving training practices in others
  • Working directly at the location to train employees face to face, no complete remote option
  • Computer literate and able to effectively use the full MS Office suite of applications
  • Good communication required (English and German)
