The programme


This is a unique 24-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills.

Based on a permanent contract, our graduate programme includes on- and off-the-job components, places the emphasis on teamwork but will also explore your skill sets, further your development and set specific objectives. Your training will be complemented by a professional certification relevant to the area of business of your assignment (in this case CAPM/PMP, CBPA or BPMP, for example).

Your role


The COO Office provides support for the operational activities of Pictet Wealth Management (PWM), delivering project management, process re-engineering and change management capabilities in Switzerland and abroad.

During your first 18 months you will lead and/or play an active part in operational projects and change management initiatives relating to the roll-out of a new application for bankers. Then, for the last six months of the programme, you will work on process-related initiatives. This will include documenting Front operational processes across all our international branches and identifying areas for improvement.

These assignments will expose you to a broad range of topics and local specificities, as well as enabling you to work with numerous professionals in Geneva and abroad. You will also attend in-house workshops that provide an understanding of the complex, competitive and constantly changing environment of the private banking world.

At the end of the programme you will have the requisite skills to become a project manager, change manager and/or process expert and work autonomously on tasks assigned to the team.

Your profile


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management from a top business school or an equivalent institution (e.g. EPFL/EPFZ).
  • At least six months’ experience (and less than two years’) experience in a consulting or financial services company (including internships, temporary roles, etc.).
  • Thorough in your work, able to operate on your own without difficulty and with a persevering nature as well as possessing analytical and presentation skills and the ability to distil information efficiently.
  • A strong team player with a definite flair for communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled user of common IT applications (MS Office).
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; fluency in French and other European languages would be considered an advantage.
  • International exposure in a work-related, academic or personal context.
  • Residence in Switzerland required.
