Graduate GTP/Full-Time Analyst

Your role

Are you an innovative thinker who likes to change the status quo? Do you already have experience in the fund industry and/or custodian banking business? We’re looking for someone like that to:
  • Execution of various control procedures such as investment guidelines, fund NAV, ownership review of traditional and alternative fund structures
  • Identify violations and ensure remediation in cooperation with involved parties such as custodian bank, fund management and asset managers
  • Assessment of fund management companies/administrators, review of new fund contracts and fund contract amendments for the attention of the regulator (FINMA)
  • Management and coordination of customer-specific fund structures
  • Participation in projects in the further development of the custodian bank control systems & processes
  • Support the team to manage risks across multiple different risk factors

Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Custodian Bank Fund Control team in Zürich-Altstetten. We are part of the Asset Servicing Switzerland division, and our task is to support the business, introduce fund solutions and ensure compliance with the regulatory and legal requirements of the Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA). At the same time, we ensure that the relevant risks are known and either accepted or remedied.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels with colleagues at all levels
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in fund industry or similar
  • an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
