Your team

You’ll be working in the ’Global Reconciliations Utility’ IT team in Pune. ‘Global Reconciliations Utility’ IT (GRU IT) is responsible to deliver an efficient, high quality set of end to end IT Services creating reconciliations that are used globally within UBS. You will be collaborating and working in partnership with Reconciliations Operations across multiple stakeholders within the Bank

Your expertise

  • design and deliver high quality solutions for Intersystem, Depots ,Nostro and ETD reconciliations on Clareti Transaction Control (CTC ) and Intellimatch that conform to architectural standards
  • review code and designs, ensure standards are adhered to
  • ability to ‘own’ and manage development life cycle tasks end to end
  • ensure the solutions we build are feature rich and maintainable in a resilient and supportable manor
  • work closely and effectively with Gresham and FIS, the vendors for the CTC and Intellimatch products and other IT teams across the Bank
  • 5+ years of experience in building reconciliations in vendor platforms
  • detailed technical knowledge of the Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) Gresham CTC / Intellimatch(FIS) application and its overall configuration
  • 5+ years of hands on experience with Python
  • up to date with emerging technologies, open source, open standards and new practices, recognizing and realizing opportunities to enhance our technical approach
  • experience of implementing machine learning techniques to reduce manual intervention on data quality issues and breaks
  • understanding of Cloud services and best of breed software architecture
  • application Code Repository usage with Gitlab
  • Java skills - Java Spring Boot
  • experience with MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL DB - ability to query database to pull out relevant information and create SQL script/Stored Procedure
  • knowledge of Azure IaaS, Unix (Shell Scripting) and Windows server
  • prior experience of DevOps framework and common DevOps Tools is a plus
  • development experience on cloud platform will be plus
