Our customer is a very active Start-up production and distribution company for high level FMCG and chemical products (B2B / B2C). The company is headquartered in the canton of Zug with subsidiaries all over the world.

To complete the Finance team, we are looking for a committed and strong

Group Controller / Group Accountant

In this position you will reporting directly to the Group CFO in USA.

Your main areas of Responsibilities are:
  • Being responsible and overviewing accurate Finance and Accounting activities of several group companies together with the team and the shared service center abroad (Swiss Gaap FER / IFRS)
  • Consolidation
  • Cost Controlling
  • VAT
  • Cash Management (forecast calculation)
  • Ensure accurate Intercompany and related transactions based on Transfer Pricing principles
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial reportings to Management and finding interpretation to support future business decision
  • Peparation of regular and ad hoc data sets for controlling purposes and/or special project requests
  • Preparation for annual audit process
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • 5 - 8 years of relevant experience as Group Controller / Group Accountant
  • Sound experience in Swiss Gaap FER and IFRS Accounting standards
  • Very strong command of Excel, experience on Accounting management system and related cloud based software
  • hands-on attitude and willingness to grow and develop in a startup environment, very strong business acumen
  • very strong analytical approach
  • able to cummunicate in a simple straightforward way
  • ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders on all level
  • very good command of English, German would be an asset
