As a Group Leader, you will lead data-driven research across our strategic research priorities in health sciences. A Day in the Life of a Group Leader
- Implement state-of-the-art data analytics, exploratory data analyses, and data modeling approaches to transform our portfolio towards data-driven, translational research
- Coordinate closely with subject matter experts to build research programs that leverage data from clinical and real-world evidence trials as well as large cohort studies to optimize health benefits of nutrition interventions
- Design projects aligned with the institute’s objectives, manage a research portfolio, and deliver on project plans
- Work with a team of junior and senior scientists to enable their career ambitions as experts and managers
- PhD with a minimum of 6-8 years post-graduate work experience in data science in the domain of life sciences
- Expertise working with datasets from large human cohorts and/or real-world health and nutrition data
- Proficiency in data science including multi-omics data analysis and predictive modeling of health outcomes using multi-modal biomedical to generate concepts for stratification and/or personalized nutrition approaches
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, and previous experience in team leadership
- Impactful contributions to product translation in a nutrition or pharmaceutical industry setting is a strong plus
- Track record in scientific publications and a strong external network
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
