Optotune is a growing and internationally active optics company based in Dietikon, Switzerland. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets.

Tasks

• Day to day management of high-volume production quality, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), customer/supplier complaint handling (8D, SCAR) as well as customer/supplier visits (Europe and Asia)
• Technically advise a team of quality engineers, technicians and operators in performing IQC and OQC
• Supporting production staff in all topics relating to Q throughout the entire production process
• Manage all Q-related questions between engineering, production, customers and suppliers
• Supporting risk analysis and risk mitigation identification
• Coaches and develops organisational talent

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master degree in mechanical engineering, material engineering, physics or equivalent and 5+ years of related work experience
• Proven standing in negotiating and resolving quality issues with large multinational companies
• Broad technical understanding in optics and microtechnology
• Experience in QA Software Tools and Processes (SCAR, 8D, CAPA, FMEA/Control Plan)
• Analytical thinking, proactive, and autonomous
• Structured data evaluation and reporting skills in project structures
• Excellent communication skills with fellow employees, customers and suppliers
• Effective implementer and multitasker
• Fluent command of English (proficiency) and German (B2)
