Position Summary

As Nestlé Group Pensions Adviser, you will support the Deputy Head of Group Pensions Unit (GPU) and Chief Actuary in the management of key functional initiatives. You will also support the GPU team: in the provision of corporate strategic advice to Nestlé Pension Funds; in the implementation of effective retirement strategies and in ensuring compliance with Group Pensions Policy and Standard. You will be a point of contact for assigned Nestlé Markets for all post-employment benefit matters.
A Day in the Life of a Group Pensions Adviser

  • Support GPU in communicating corporate strategy to local affiliates and pension funds & ensure they are aligned with Group standards on post-employment benefits
  • Assist pension funds in the implementation of the Group strategy locally to cover risk controls, reporting mechanisms and funding/investment policy
  • Support the development of the Group post-employment benefit (PEB) Standard
  • Support GPU in communicating with other corporate functions (Accounting, Human Resources and Total Rewards) to ensure successful outcomes of strategic initiatives
  • Support Deputy Head of GPU in preparing executive management meetings
  • Monitor Group post-employment benefit metrics and provide proactive support to solve potential issues
  • Act as single point of contact for identified Nestlé affiliates and support them in all aspects of PEB (e.g. benefit design, selection/monitoring of local actuarial consultants, actuarial studies, leverage preferred managers, implement effective SAAs,…)
  • Support the completion of actuarial studies (e.g. ALM study, funding valuation or setting-up of new pension plans)
  • Support in the review of IAS 19 year-end disclosures and perform IAS 19 actuarial valuations for selected Markets
What will make you successful

  • Degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles, such as: Benefit administration, Asset Management, Pension accounting and consulting
  • Developed knowledge of retirement matters
  • Drive to meet ambitious challenges and exceed expectations
  • High sense of integrity, accountability, and work ethics
  • Self-driven and self-disciplined with strong communication skills
  • Fast learner: ability to connect the dots and identify crucial questions and problems
  • Fluent in English
