Our relationships are built around Transparency, which builds trust and improves communication.We’re shaping the future of living, and we want you to be part of that journey.We are looking for a Guest Operations Specialist (part-time) to join our fast-growing Baselteam.The ideal candidate should be a stickler for detail, proactive, skilled in general maintenance tasks, and thoughtful so as to ensure that the property is continuously in pristine condition for our guests. The role is primarily responsible for working along with our Operations Team in preparing new units, ensuring that existing units are perfect for our guests, and handling any issues or emergencies that arise with all stakeholders of Blueground—partner companies, property owners, tenants, etc.What you will focus on:
  • Assist our Guest Operations Team in the set-up of the apartments
  • Assist with apartment viewings and assist our guest to check-in
  • Conduct a thorough inspection of our apartments, between tenants and ensure accurate reporting of inventory and apartment’s condition
  • Be the main point of contact between our guests and the Customer Experience team
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to work along with the Operations team in resolving property management related issues
  • Complete small maintenance tasks while needed to ensure a positive guest experience (basic handyman skills, tightening, replacing bulbs, light retouch for painting, etc.)
  • Supervise handyman while working on resolving an emergency in our apartments (locksmith, plumber, etc.)
  • Assist in different type of tasks to prepare apartments for next clients (delivery of small items, key copies, supervising the work of contractors, etc.)
What we are looking for:
  • A ‘doer’ mentality, willingness to spend time on the ground between our apartments in the most prestigious neighborhoods of Zurich and Basel
  • Fluency in English, intermediate level in German and/or Swiss German
  • Good in oral and written communication
  • Problem solver, with a good eye for detail and a can-do attitude suitable in a fast-growth, startup environment
  • Flexible with working hours
  • A positive, confident, upbeat, and friendly personality
